..::DAMONE WILLIAMS::..

Damone Williams is a triple threat...Actor, Singer, and Writer.

He has been acting all his life, on and off stage, but his passion for it wasn't truly ignited until his Freshman year in High School, when he took part in his first play, "THE DUKES DESCENT", as Lance, one of the lead roles. From then on, he was hooked! He went on to appear in every production his high school put on, including Shakespeare's "A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM", Ray Bradbury's "FAHRENHEIT 451", and the award-winning, blockbuster world-premiere of Christian Kiley's "STRINGS ATTACHED"

During High School, Damone also pursued a professional acting career. He landed his first lead role in a film in 2005. The film was, "EMEKA", the story of a Nigerian family, and the prejudices they face here in America. Also starring Nico Onwura (http://imdb.com/name/nm2200688/), this film went on to win many awards and accolades nationwide. But the film's excellence was set in stone when it was chosen to screen at the famous PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL (www.paff.org) in 2006.

Upon graduating from High School in 2007, Damone kicked his career into high gear. Auditioning quite often, and booking a few things here and there. Most notably, in September 2007, Damone was cast opposite Kerry Washington (http://imdb.com/name/nm0913488/) and Michael Ealy http://imdb.com/name/nm1013003/), in Jabril Muhammad's "PUT IT IN A BOOK", a film about a brother's struggle with raising his little brother in inner-city Los Angeles.

Damone has aslo been singing for the past three years. This passion was ignited by his high school choir teachers, Mrs. Amy Dunyon and Mrs. Michelle Akrami. Damone has a passion for jazz music, and his voice fits it perfectly. In 2007 he joined his high school's world-renowned jazz band, under the direction of Don Jaramillo (http://www.etiwanda.com/biography.html). After graduating, Damone went on to perform with the Chaffey Jazz Ensemble and is currently in the pre-production stages on his first album.

FADE IN: Damone has been writing screenplays since he was 8 (of course, they weren't that good back then, haha..). He prides himself on writing films with great characters, great dialogue, and even greater storylines. His most noted works are "ACCEPTANCE", "THE REMNANTS", and "HONOR THY BROTHER".

In the past three years, Damone has taken up writing more than just films. He's currently working on two television hour-long pilots, a sitcom pilot, two musicals, and a straight play. He wants to get in the door, any way he can.  = )

Look out for him...he's coming.
